If you are looking for the best game viewing experience in Johannesburg but have limited time, then the Pilanesberg day tour will be a trip for you.
Enjoy the abundance of wildlife from an open vehicle experience on a guided game drive of Pilanesberg National Park. Upon arrival an experienced field guide will collect you from the Visitors Centre on a 4X4 open Safari vehicle for your a 3 hour guided game drive in the park. Enjoy this spectacular game reserve, during which your field guide will keep you well informed about the park, the game and their primal habits. You will be provided with bottled water, however you are more than welcome to bring your own refreshments along. The park is home to the Big 5 and other mammals of South Africa. Keep your eyes peeled for lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo, among others. Other animals that you may encounter are zebra, giraffe, cheetah, hyena, hippo, crocodile, jackal, wild dogs, antelope as well as some from over the 300 bird species that are found in the park and the list is endless. The view of the park on its own is magnificent. Enjoy the abundance of the African bushveld on this game drive.

Our guide will collect you from your hotel at 03:00am for 05:00am guided game drive. Driving time for this one should be 2 hours as it won't be affected by traffic. Another pick up time is 06:30am for 09:00am guided game drive then drive for 2.5 hours to Pilanesberg Nature reserve.On arrival you will receive a short briefing about the park and the program of the day.
The early morning tour departs at 05:00am until 08:00am and the next tour in the morning departs at 09:00am up until 12:00am these are both 3 hour game drives. At the end of the Game drive you will be dropped back at the Visitors Centre where you will be picked up by our Guide for another 2.5 hour drive back to Johannesburg.
Pick up from your Hotel in Johannesburg or Pretoria at 03:00am or 06:30am different pick up time can be arranged depending on your location and the program of the day.
Our guide will drop you at your hotel in Johannesburg or Pretoria at the end of the tour.
