Are you on a short stay in Johannesburg and you have time limitations but you want to do Safari, Only 1 hour drive from Johannesburg, we will take you on a self drive tour of Lion and Rhino Nature Reserve where you will also encounter a wonderful diversity of endangered species kept in enclosures.
The Rhino & Lion Nature Reserve is home to rhino, wildebeest giraffe, zebra, antelope and a variety of predators including lion, wild dog, hyena and leopard.
This nature reserve offers wildlife lovers a fun mini-safari tour in a malaria-free zone
The Rhino & Lion Nature Reserve is a privately-owned nature reserve that covers an area of about 1 600 hectares. It’s situated in Cradle of Humankind area which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
This incredible cave was discovered by Italian miners in 1898. It is the third-largest chamber in South Africa, after Cango Caves and Sudwala Caves. The ancient cave is millions of years old and famous for its impressive stalactites and stalagmites, some as tall as 15 metres.
A visit to the cave is recommended for the fit and adventurous. There are 87 steps down to the entrance of the cave. An elevator takes you a further 18 meters to the large cave chamber

Enjoy a drive to Rhino and Lion Nature Reserve, located 1 hour from Johannesburg in the Cradle of Humankind area.
Briefing about the park and safety rules.
Enjoy a 2-hour game drive in a specialised open safari vehicle.
Get to explore the Bothongo Wondercave which is an incredible natural wonderland. The caves are renowned for their beautiful stalactites and stalagmites.
The tour ends at the Wildlife Centre enclosures where you can view the orphaned and rescued animals.

Another fabulous trip and I just loved the huge colony of penguins. The whole day trip was magic with baboons running around our feet at Cape of Good Hope and the feeling of being at the bottom of the world as you looked out to sea. Well worth doing

Lion, wild dogs and Cheetah feeding
at the PREDATOR CAMP at 13H00 on Wednesday, Weekends & Public Holidays.Viewing the predator feeding is one of the most popular activities.
The brown & white prides of lions are housed separately and fed on alternative days according to a systematically measured schedule.
The endangered African wild dogs and the cheetahs are fed when the brown and white lions are fed.
After a 2-hour tour we stop at the Wildlife Centre enclosures where you can spend time viewing the orphaned and rescued animals.
